Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced mermaid, the Merfolk Retreat is for anyone who loves the underwater world and seeks new experiences. Mermaid Kat and the team welcome individuals of all sizes, shapes, ages, and genders.
Basic swimming skills are essential, and a passion for underwater adventure is a must. But no prior freediving, scuba diving, or modeling experience is required. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Timing and Location
Merfolk Retreat Egypt will run from September 1 to 28, 2024 at the Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge in Soma Bay, but you can choose the active week and mermaid week you want to participate in. Refer to the list below for the dates and duration:

About the Organizer
Merfolk Egypt is organized by Mermaid Kat, an accomplished mermaid, mermaid instructor, and underwater stunt performer hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Serving as a global ambassador for the ocean, she traverses the globe adorned in her mermaid tails, engaging with marine wonders like dolphins, turtles, whales, manta rays, and sharks to raise awareness for ocean conservation. Kat’s extensive repertoire includes appearances in numerous films, TV commercials, and advertising ventures.
