Ashtanga Vinyasa For Beginners
The Introduction to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga workshop is led by Nour Wellbeing Dahab’s Stefania. She has shared her yoga expertise in Italy, Bali, Thailand, Spain, and Mexico and has called Egypt her home for the past three years.
Ashtanga yoga, a dynamic form of classical Indian yoga, comprises six distinct “series,” each featuring a predetermined sequence of poses. This workshop is designed for those keen to explore and immerse themselves in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga’s captivating and challenging world. Rooted in the practice of Vinyasa, it emphasizes the seamless flow between asanas (poses), with a dedicated focus on energy and breath.
Lessons and activities:
- Sun salutation A and BStanding poses
- Sitting poses (up to Navasana)
- Finishing poses with a focus on the alignment, breathing techniques, and bandhas (energy locks)
- Drishty (focuzed gaze)
Timing and Location
This workshop takes place at Nour Wellbeing Dahab’s studio at Coral Coast Hotel, Eel Garden, Dahab. It has four enlightening classes, each carefully designed to immerse you in the world of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. The schedule is as follows:
- Sun 12th Nov 8-10 am
- Mon 13th Nov 8-10 am
- Wed 15th Nov 8-10 am
- Sat 18th Nov – Regular Ashtanga yoga class
