TERMS OF SERVICE

This is a small directory of sports events in Egypt, not a booking platform. The terms below are the short version of what that means for you.

What this site is

Sports Events Egypt collects information about races, training nights, kitesurf weeks, and other sport happenings, and presents them in one place. We link out to the event organiser’s own page or registration form. We try to keep dates, prices, and venues accurate, and we check listings against the organiser’s own information before we publish them.

What this site isn’t

We do not run the events. We do not handle payments, registrations, refunds, or insurance. If an event is cancelled, moved, or sold out, that is between you and the organiser. The maintenance page explains how we keep listings current and what to do if you find something out of date.

If you organise events

Anyone can submit an event for free. By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to publish the information, including any images. We may edit your submission for clarity, length, or to match the rest of the site, and we may decline a listing if it looks misleading or unsafe. We will tell you why if we do.

Always read the organiser’s own terms before you pay. Confirm the date and the location with them. Buy your own travel and event insurance if you are coming from outside the city. The race day weather in Egypt can be hot, the road conditions can change, and registration cut-offs are sometimes earlier than advertised. Check.

Liability

Sport carries risk. Training and competing in heat, in open water, on roads shared with traffic, or on trails can result in injury. Sports Events Egypt cannot accept responsibility for injuries, lost entry fees, cancelled events, or anything that goes wrong on or around an event you found through the site. You take part at your own risk, and you are responsible for arranging suitable insurance.

Changes to these terms

If we change the substance of this page we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how you submit events, we will email organisers who have used the site recently.
