PRIVACY POLICY

We try to know as little about you as we can while still running a useful directory.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us.

• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Contact form: your name, email, and the message you send.
• Organiser submissions: the contact details and event information you fill in.
• Server logs: standard information your browser sends to any website, such as IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited. We use this only to keep the site secure and to fix problems.

What we don’t collect

We don’t sell or rent your data. We don’t run third-party advertising trackers. We don’t profile you to send targeted ads. We don’t ask for your date of birth, address, or any health information.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of cookies to make the site work, such as remembering whether you have dismissed a banner. We also use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits to each page. The analytics do not store personal information and do not follow you around the web.

Who we share with

Three parties only.

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
• Our email service, which sends newsletters and replies on our behalf.
• Authorities, if a law requires it. This has never happened so far.

We pick services that take privacy seriously and have a track record of behaving well. We do not pass your data to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you everything we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Write to hello@sportseventsegypt.com and we will reply within seven days.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important on this page, we will update the date at the top and, where it matters, send a note to subscribers. We are not going to start tracking you in secret.
