Pyramids Half Marathon
The Pyramids Half Marathon, one of Trifactory’s most prestigious signature racing events, returns this year with a bigger and better edition. The 2022 edition takes place at the Giza Plateau on December 23, welcoming interested athletes from all over the world.
Race Through History
The Pyramids Half Marathon 2022 marks TriFactory’s fourth year of hosting the flagship sports event. Like the previous events, it would open registration to all runners, regardless of age, experience, and category. There are no entrance criteria or qualifications for registration.
The event will again feature the 21K race on top of the usual 10K and 5K distances to cater to athletes from different levels. The minimum age required for the 21K race is 14 years old, while the 5K and 10K races will accept athletes who are at least 8 and 12 years old, respectively. All participants will utilize the MyLaps automatic timing system.
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal after the race. Meanwhile, the top three overall winners for each category will receive special prizes. The individual Trifactory rankings will be organized into age group categories.
Timing and Location
The Pyramids Half Marathon 2022 will take place at the Pyramids Complex in the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza and its three pyramid designations: Khufu, Kafre, and Menkaure.
The race is set for December 23. The Trifactory confirmed that the Pyramids Half Marathon 2022 will be a four-day event featuring the actual marathon, multisport festivals, and camps. Here’s the complete list of events laid down by the organizer:

Registration Information
Registration for the Pyramids Half Marathon is open online. Head to this link to register, read the terms and conditions, and finalize payment. The registration is on a tiered basis, with 1000 tickets allocated per tier, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will increase in price once tiers are filled up. As such, runners are encouraged to sign up quickly in order to benefit from lower ticker prices. Here’s the price list per tier:
