Global Swim Series (GSS) in partnership with Stroke For Egypt Academy, just introduced the first annual Pharaoh’s Swim in Egypt. The new series, which will go by the title Pharaoh’s Swim 2021 – GSS Egyptian Championships, will be one of the premier swimming races in the country.
First Pharaoh’s Swim
The Pharaoh’s Swim 2021 – GSS Egyptian Championships is set to be an open-water swimming race that will return annually to Egypt. Egyptian residents and other athletes from around the world ages 14 and up are welcome to participate.
The available race categories are 1.5 KM, 2 KM (for athletes with special needs), 5 KM, and 10 KM + relays. On top of the main races, the organizers will also host water polo events and giveaways.
Timing and Location
The Pharaoh’s Swim will be held at the Red Sea, the beach area near the partner 6-star resort of the event, the Baron Palace Sahl Hasheesh at Al-Ghardaqah. The first 250 participants will get free accommodation at the said resort.
GSS and Stroke For Egypt allotted several days for the world-class event. The Pharaoh’s Swim 2021 – GSS Egyptian Championships would be held between October 4 to November 4, 2021.
Registration Information
To register for the event and reserve your spot, head to this link and choose your preferred race category. The ticket price for the event’s main registration is 150 GBP (approximately 205 USD). The registration fee covers all your preferred races—possibly up to 3 races for the duration of the event, airport transfers, race kits, and meals.
