Marassi Endurance Festival

The Trifactory will hold another Endurance Festival this June, following the success of the recent Somabay Endurance Festival. The new edition, Marassi Endurance Festival, is inspired by The Aquathlon and will debut on the 24th.

Egypt’s Biggest Multi-Sport Event

The Endurance Festival was first established in 2014. Since its success that year, Trifactory started organizing more events twice annually, mainly featuring Spring and Winter editions.

The Marassi Endurance Festival is a swim-run event last organised by The TriFactory in 2018. This year, the event will feature various distances, all of which can be completed either individually or as part of a relay team.

Supersprint Distance (ages 12+) – Individual + Relay

• 350m open-water swim + 2.5 kilometre run

Sprint Distance (ages 14+) – Individual + Relay

• 750m open-water swim + 5 kilometre run​

Olympic Distance (ages 16+) – Individual + Relay

• 1.5 open-water swim + 10 kilometre run​

Youth Race (ages 8-12) – Individual + Relay

• 100m open-water swim + 1 kilometre run​

Timing and Location

The event takes place in Marassi, the unrivaled coastal destination of Egypt’s North Coast, on June 24. The area extends over 6.5 million sqm of impeccably-planned seaside indulgence. It features 5 beaches, 23 residential villages, 3300 hotel keys, an 18-hole golf course, and one of the largest international marinas in the Middle East.

• 7:30 am Arrival and Check-In at Safi Beach
• 8:30 am Supersprint, Sprint, & Olympic
• 9:30 am Youth Race
• 10:00 am Awards Ceremony at Safi Beach
