Madinaty Half Marathon

The 2025 edition and the fifth season of the Madinaty Half Marathon returns to New Cairo in May. This year, the event is set to replicate its initial success, with the same distances on offer. Join The Trifactory on its exciting competitive running races in Madinaty!

One More Time At Madinaty

The Trifactory plans to open its doors to more racers. The Madinaty Half Marathon 2025 offers the following race categories for runners and skaters of all ages and athletic levels:

• • 2K Fun Run: An untimed event open to participants of all ages. Each participant is given a race number prior to starting and an acrylic medal upon completion.
  • 5K Race: A 5,000-meter road race timed with the MyLaps Timing System. Runners are provided with a race number before the start and a race t-shirt and a premium medal at the finish line.
  • 10K Race: A 10,000-meter road race, also timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive a race number at the beginning, and upon finishing, they are awarded a race t-shirt and a premium medal.
  • 21.1K Race: This race covers a distance of 21.1 kilometers and is timed with the MyLaps Timing System. Runners get a race number before they start and are rewarded with a race t-shirt and a premium medal at the end.

Highlights of the race include automatic timing for every participant, fully closed-off roads to ensure a runner-only environment, and special race medals awaiting all finishers at the line.

Timing and Location

The Madinaty Half Marathon 2025 transpires on May 9. The event goes back to the same world-class racing course in Madinaty, offering both a unique sightseeing experience and an exciting race. Refer to the table below for the complete race schedule:

• 5:30 – 6:45 am: Arrival & Race Number Collection at the Open Air Mall
• 6:45 am: Warm-Up and Final Announcements. Runners head to the Start Line.
• 7:00 am: 5K, 10K, & 21K Races begin.
• 10:00 am: 2K Family Run.
• 10:30 am: Awards Ceremony (inside Open Air Mall) for 5K,10K, & 21K

Early Bird Registration Phase (Wednesday, February 19th – Sunday, March 2nd)

• EGP 800 – 5K Race
• EGP 800- 10K Race

General Registration Phase (Monday, March 3rd – Wednesday, April 30th)
