Dahab 10K Race / Camp

Cairo Runners opens the new edition of the Dahab 10K Race / Camp this May 2025. The marathon doubles as a camp for interested participants who wish to try more fitness activities and interact with people of the same wavelength in the beautiful southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula.

Marathon and Camping in Dahab

The Dahab 10K Race / Camp offers a marathon event and a 3-day camp. The marathon features two official race distances, a 10K race and a 6K fun run, while the camp comes with a 2-day / 3-night accommodation, day and night tours, and oriental Bedouin meals.

Interested participants have the option to register for the camp or just the official race. The official race registration already includes a finisher’s t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, race number, tracking chip, pasta party, and after-race breakfast.

Timing and Location

The 10K Dahab Race and 6K fun run will kick off on May 16, 2025, but the camp will take place from May 15 to 17. The venue is at Retac Qunay Dahab Resort, a resort in the heart of Sinai that overlooks the Gulf of Aqaba.

May 15, Thursday

• 05:15 AM – Meeting time for the bus
• 05:45 AM – Buses departure
• 03:00 PM – Arrival & Check-in at Retac Qunay Dahab Resort
• 06:00 PM – Orientation and registration
• 07:00 PM – Pasta Party
• 08:30 PM – Moving to the Mamsha
• 10:30 PM – Return to the Hotel

May 16, Friday

• 06:00 AM – Breakfast
• 07:30 AM – Warm-up / race starts
• 09:00 to 12:00 – Cool-down + Bedouin breakfast
• 12:00 PM – Return to the hotel
• 03:00 PM – Lunch at the hotel
• 07:00 PM – Bedouin activity

May 17, Saturday

• 06:00 AM – Breakfast
• 08:00 to 12:00 PM – Free time
• 01:30 PM – Moving back to Cairo

Registration Information

The registration for the 10K Dahab Race / Camp 2025 is open online. Head to this link to register, read the full details, and confirm payment. The 10K and 6K race tickets are both priced at 850 LE, while the camp registration fee starts at 7,000 LE.
