Dream Challenges, a global travel and sports organizer, will host Cycle the Nile 2022 in November. The event is a riverside cycling adventure in Egypt, a once-in-a-lifetime ride following the Nile.

Cycle the Nile Through Egypt

Dream Challenges and the participants of Cycle the Nile 2022 will explore the entirety of Egypt through cycling. Starting in Cairo, the participants will cycle to the amazing sites in Memphis and Saqqara, the City of the Dead, and the pyramids of Giza, before exploring the hidden Fayoum Oasis.

Afterward, everyone will fly south to Aswan and follow the Nile further to the Philae Temple Complex on Agilika Island. Participants will have a chance to experience a Nile River cruise ship and rest.

Together again, everyone will travel through time—through Ancient Egypt and on to the Greco-Roman period. Dream Challenges will let you visit the Kom Ombo, Esna, Edfu, and Luxor Temples.

The cycling and tour end at the largest religious monument, the city-sized Karnak Temple. There will be a local tour before everyone travels back to Cairo to celebrate at a hill-top restaurant overlooking the city.

Timing and Location

Dream Challenges will host the cycling adventure in two parts—from November 1 to 8 and from November 8 to 15. Participants have 8 days to explore, cycle, and have fun in Egypt. The adventure will aim to explore the city and all its landmarks and hidden gems one at a time from day 1 to 8.

Registration Information

Citizens of Egypt and the United Kingdom are the main target market of Cycle the Nile 2022, but residents from other countries can also join provided that they can organize a trip to Egypt or the UK prior to the event.

To register, head to Cycle the Nile 2022 page on Dream Challenges’ official website. The entire trip starts at £1,850 (EGP 39,477), depending on the funding options you’ll choose. For self-funded, the minimum cost is £1,850 (EGP 39,477). For sponsorship, which will allow you to raise the minimum target for your chosen charity, the minimum cost is £3,700 (EGP 78,960). In addition, the registration fee is £349 (EGP 7,449).
