Cross Egypt Challenge

Cross Egypt Challenge, an internationally acclaimed cross-country motorcycle and scooter rally based in Egypt, is set to return this October. Traversing the diverse terrains of Egypt, this event invites participants to push their boundaries and embark on an unparalleled adventure.

Cross-Country Rally

The Cross Egypt Challenge is a series of endurance rallies that navigate the most demanding roads and tracks across Egypt. The primary aim is to promote Egyptian tourism, and the event holds the distinction of being an official rally sanctioned by the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme), the global governing body for motorcycle sports.

Participation Guidelines:

• Riders must be 18 years or older (15 years old for accompanying persons).
• Riders must possess a valid motorcycle riding license or an international riding license with a motorcycle endorsement.
• Riders should have a minimum of 6 months’ experience riding motorcycles or scooters.
• Participants must be physically capable of undertaking the Cross Egypt Challenge.
• Pillion passengers are only permitted on motorcycles with an engine capacity of 1000cc or more.

Timing and Location

The 2025 season is scheduled from October 2 to 11. The route will commence in Alexandria, journey along the Mediterranean coast, traverse the Nile Valley, delve into the Eastern and Western deserts, explore Egypt’s deep south, and conclude beneath the Step Pyramid of Djoser in the Sakkara area.

• Rider: USD 2,750 per person
• Pillion/Passenger: USD 2,650 per person

For Egyptians and Residents:

• Rider: EGP 34,000 per person
• Pillion/Passenger: EGP 32,000 per person

Cross Egypt Challenge is an international cross-country motorcycle and scooter rally aiming to promote Egyptian tourism. Cross Egypt Challenge is an FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) adventure touring rally and is running under the supervision of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, the Egyptian Ministry of Sports, and the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
